We operate a popular photocopying service at a rate of £2 per article (or £5 to have the article emailed to your inbox as a pdf). Photocopy Request forms are available from here, or can be obtained by telephoning the Information Centre on 0207 563 4585.

Through this system you will be able to reserve books that you may want to borrow, renew items that you already have on loan and see a record of what you have previously borrowed. Since this is a new system please let us know if you have any problems using it.

Please note that non-members who are not eligible to join the BDA may visit the library for reference purposes BY PRIOR APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Non-members who are eligible to join the BDA may not visit without first becoming BDA members.
Please telephone us in advance of a visit and we will send you a visitor’s letter provided you are conducting legitimate dental research. Please note that there is generally a charge for this service.

Books and books database
Loans of books, packages of articles, pamphlets and videos are available to full BDA members by post or in person, for up to four weeks. Our New Items page is continually updated as books and videos come in to the Information Centre.

Photocopying
We provide a postal service (there is a small charge).
